Description of the entity/Team

 

The mission of the Orange Business ‘B2B Global Sourcing’ direction, which reports to Global Delivery and Operations and is an integral part of the Group's purchasing and supply chain organization, is to support the Orange Business teams in providing competitive solutions to our B2B customers (France and International), while managing risks and integrating social responsibility into contracts. Approximately 2 billion euros of expenditure are under his responsibility, on a scope of 6,500 suppliers to date.

 

The B2B Global Sourcing Direction will comprise 4 new entities:

•             1 business partner entity for customer projects sourcing: “Project Sourcing”

•             2 strategic sourcing entities: « Telecom Sourcing » and « B2B Category Sourcing »

•             1 entity in support of entities above: “Sourcing Operations”

 

Project Sourcing entity will be responsible for managing the purchasing of products and services for customer deals worth more than €1m TCV brought in by OB France and OB International, as well as for meeting local internal requirements for international. Around €500m of expenditure will be under its responsibility, across a very wide range of suppliers, including resale and managed services, hardware, software, licences and professional services.

The entity sits at the crossroads of Orange Business's needs and is closely connected with, among others: OB International, OB France, DEF HdM, Secteur public, GDO and OF Supply Chain, OBS SA Sourcing and OCD Sourcing.

 

Mission

 

Ensure success of Project Sourcing Europe and Project Sourcing MEA by anticipating sourcing, supply chain and ESG needs in the region, providing governance and support, monitoring performance and developing knowledge and skills. 

  

 

Description of main responsibilities 

 

Regional sourcing needs anticipation

 

• Utilize Sales Pipeline tools to anticipate future externally sourced needs
• identify in advance deals that could be qualified
• forecast potential savings

 

Value Creation and Performance Management

• Coordinate the definition of the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) for the region, in particular for savings and ESG, between Sourcing Operation, Project Sourcing Europe, Project Sourcing MEA,  and Sales Region
• Assist buyers and managers of the region  to monitor performance via critical tools such as Qlik (Project Management tracking), Sprint (contracts), NetSave (booked and forecasted savings), ACT (compliance and anti-corruption), and others. Summarize such data for communication purposes - via communiques, seminars and other means to the regional team, collaborators and suppliers.   
• Act as the ESG owner & point of contact for the Europe and MEA Project Sourcing teams for refurbishment, supplier Carbon footprint, and diversity supplier topics 

 

Knowledge and skills development

• Identify skills needed in the region to ensure success. Collaborate with Sourcing Excellence to define adapted ‘upskilling’ paths for buyers 
• Develop forums for knowledge sharing and best practices

 

Risk Management

• Help to identify and assess local/regional supply chain risks, including ongoing projects with incidents or invoicing challenges. 
• Apply risk mitigation plans and monitor the efficacy of such.
• Assist with crises management

 

Internal Collaboration and Governance

• Manage deal qualification governance with Sales
• Collaborate with Sourcing Operations to improve continuously the operation and maturity of the regional project sourcing team, and to improve and digitalise end-to-end processes
• Implement the change management plan in the region
• Coordinate with Sourcing Communication for regional channels and events
• Share practices with APMs in other regions

 

Education

Advanced degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.

 

Experience

At least 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing related project management. 

 

Skills

• Strong skills in Sourcing, Procurement or any relevant operational activity; knowledge of procurement best practices, market dynamics, and industry trends are desirable. 
• A very good understanding of OB Sales and Supply Chain.
• Strong analytical skills will be required to transform data into useful information, metrics, and insights.
• Communicate with impact in a multi-cultural environment
• Compelling interpersonal skills 
• Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, identify trends, and develop innovative solutions to procurement challenges. 
• Autonomy

• Project Management methods, in particular agile methods

Languages : English fluent, French is a plus
