About the role

Role Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead OCD employees development program and skill management lifecycle, focusing on talent management; development,  retention, rewarding, and career progression. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our workforce is equipped with the technical, organizational, and customer-facing skills required to thrive in the fast-paced cybersecurity industry.


As a program manager will lead, design, and implement several training programs, spearhead people development strategies, and cultivate a high-performance culture that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.  You will also establish and manage a partnership style commercial relationships with best practice and training providers, ensuring quality and efficient knowledge/skill acquisition and delivery. 

Roles and responsibilities:

People Development & Training

  • Leading the development and implementation of technical, organizational, and customer-facing training programs tailored to meet industry demands.
  • Managing Orange Cyberdefense Academy program in OCD CoE Egypt in alignment with OCD CoE strategic business plans.
  • Engage Globally with different organizations and regions withing Orange Cyberdefense and Orange Business to align and integrate different programs within scope with OCD ecosystem.
  • Liaise with other managers to understand all necessary aspects of their learning and development needs, and to ensure they are fully informed of corporate learning and development objectives.
  • Identify skills gaps and design targeted learning initiatives to address current and future organizational needs.
  • Partner with technical teams and leadership to ensure training programs are aligned with business goals.
  • Liaise with the People Development and learning, and finance departments to ensure control of training and development delivery and expenditure within agreed budgets.
  • Developing a budget and operating plan for the program(s).
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program schedule and status reports throughout its life cycle.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve content and delivery methods.
  • Analyzing program risks.

Rewarding, Retention & Career Progression

  • Develop and manage reward systems to recognize and incentivize employee performance and achievements.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to create retention strategies that align with company culture and values.
  • Design career progression frameworks and provide guidance on development opportunities for employees.
  • Implement initiatives to foster employee engagement, job satisfaction, and long-term commitment.

Talent Management

  • Oversee the full talent lifecycle, including recruitment support, onboarding, development, and succession planning.
  • Create strategies to identify and nurture high-potential employees and future leaders.
  • Facilitate performance management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to managers on talent development best practices.

Employee Engagement Duties:

  • Partner with human resources, PD&L, and management teams to implement employee engagement strategies. This can include talent systems, mentoring programs, succession planning, and more.
     

About you

 

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in project/program management, people development, talent management, or a related field.
  • Industry Expertise: Proven experience in Telecommunications or IT, with a strong understanding of technical skill requirements and industry trends.

Skills and Competencies

  • Very good English both spoken and written. French is a Plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage employees.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to engage with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills Ability to deliver projects to plan, and cost and quality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to align people development initiatives with business goals.
  • A commitment to people development and the organizational values and behaviors that underpins the culture and value of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
