Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade database solutions across multiple platforms (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS, Amazon Aurora).
• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines to support autonomous agents, LLM applications, and predictive models.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient database architectures.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all database systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance and scalability.
• Automate routine database maintenance tasks and implement best practices for disaster recovery and backup strategies.
• Stay updated with emerging database technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in database engineering
• Proven expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS, and Amazon Aurora.
• Strong understanding of data pipeline architecture, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and managing cloud-based database solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of data security, compliance standards, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

 

 

Certifications:

Azure Database Administrator / Microsoft Certified: Data Engineer

AWS Certified Database – Specialty

Oracle Certified Professional / MySQL Database Administrator / PostgreSQL Certified Developer
