About the role

Objective:

  • To deliver business solutions as per the needs of the DCM Infrastructure Manager and Head of DCM, utilizing various tools and technologies to reduce end-user workload.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide L2/L3 support to address production issues for assigned applications within defined SLAs.
  • Coordinate technical sessions with Tech Leads, Development Manager, and Head of DCM.
  • Perform diagnostic analysis of the network.
  • Plan and implement solution upgrades for optimal performance.
  • Identify and resolve faults/errors in the platform.
  • Respond to solution cybersecurity threats.
  • Ensure the solution platform is updated to the latest releases.
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors for solution products and services.
  • Oversee all aspects of application security.
  • Maintain the Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Manage technical or security-related audits.

Key Result / Decision Areas (Outcomes):

  • Suggest and implement technical solutions for requirements.
  • Ensure all operational activities are performed satisfactorily within agreed SLAs and processes.
  • Responsible for technical documentation, coding accuracy, software configuration, version control, and code reviews.
  • Focus on producing quality technical specifications, familiarizing with the application’s code base, and debugging code.
  • Establish guidelines for maintaining secure and high-quality applications.
  • Support the team in resolving critical issues and setting up the correct architecture of applications.
  • Prepare and update development documents.
  • Manage software using version control software.
  • Support regression and integration testing.

About you

Educational background:

  • B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus

Professional Experience:

  • 5+ years in Microsoft SharePoint solution design & maintenance
  • Preferred: 2+ years as Solution Architect & management

Required Technical Knowledge:

  • Deployment of MS solution on MS Windows server infrastructure
  • Support and Management of MS Solutions: Active Directory, SharePoint and SQL.
  • Microsoft Platform as a Service: MS Windows server and Active Directory.
  • Network component: LAN/WAN, Firewalls, Load balancer, HTTP/S, FTP, SMTP and TCP/IP.
  • Well-versed in Visualization methodologies with knowledge of VMware/Hyper-V.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Troubleshooting skills in: MS Windows Server, SharePoint software, SQL and Antivirus solutions
  • Storage, Database backup/restore management
  • Solution updates validation and upgrades to achieve optimal performance.
  • Hands-on experience with performance analysis tools network, storage, ULS logs and MS windows events.
  • Documentation Skills: Technical documentation and presentation skills

Technical skills are a plus:

  • PowerShell Scripting.
  • Knowledge of Workflow manager and SharePoint designer. 
  • Integration Knowledge: Overview of on-prem/cloud integration solutions 
  • Knowledge of Data analysis and Power Platform components.
  • UI Technologies: Familiarity with UI technologies and security protection solutions
