Your missions

Your main missions:

• Lead the architecture within the “I Purchase I Pay” SAFe Portfolio in sync with multiple teams from Customer Experience, Operations, Marketing, Global Process, IT, etc.
• Ensure architectural consistency and alignment with enterprise-wide architecture strategies.
• Define and maintain the functional, software, and technical strategy and target architecture at the Portfolio level.
• Design a future-ready, cost-efficient IT with business & IT teams.

Your main activities

• Operate within a SAFe environment, providing architectural governance and guidance at the Portfolio level and ensuring alignment with SAFe practices and principles:
  • You manage architecture demands within your Portfolio
  • You collaborate with Enterprise Architects (at Orange Business level) to ensure that Portfolio-specific architectures fit within the broader architecture framework and Orange Business strategy.
  • You work closely with Solution Architects & Customer Architects to ensure each solution is aligned with the overall Portfolio roadmap and business goals.
  • You animate a System Architects (from Delivery Value Streams) circle within your Portfolio.
• You define and maintain the Portfolio target architecture, aligned with business objectives.
• You lead the efforts for building the Architecture runway.
• You lead architecture initiatives within the Portfolio, with a focus on seamless integration across systems and services.
• You act as the Business Owner for Enablers EPICs.
• You ensure Portfolio architecture is consistent with enterprise-wide architecture strategies and complies with architecture standards and best practices.
• You drive continuous improvement of the Portfolio architecture, adapting to changes in technology and business requirements.
• You facilitate cross-Portfolios collaboration with other Portfolio architects, ensuring that shared services, data, and technologies are leveraged effectively across Portfolios.
• You bring your knowledge about external frameworks, standards and guidelines (TMF, Open Digital Architecture, …).
• You establish strategies for data architecture to uphold the precision, consistency, and security.
• You propose solutions to enhance the efficiency of systems, cut costs, and elevate the customer & Orange employee experience.
• You describe the transformation steps and map the transition from the current (as-is) architecture to the future (target) state.
• You develop and uphold architectural documentation.
• You keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry developments.

• Your qualifications:

   

  • 15+ years of overall experience, including 10+ years in relevant architectural roles.
  • Proven experience in managing architecture within large, scaled agile environments (SAFe).
  • Experience with architecture governance in complex programs/projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SAFe Portfolio-level architecture. SAFe for Architects certification is required.
  • Deep understanding of B2B telecom products and processes.
  • Proven experience with industry frameworks (TM Forum, ODA) and telecom-specific technologies.
  • Excellent client facing communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Very good knowledge of following processes and associated major IT domains:
    • I Learn & I Buy: Marketing campaigns, CRM, contract management, CPQ, ordering
    • I Get: Delivery & project management
    • I Pay: Rating, billing, invoicing, payment, debt recovery
    • I Cease or Renew: Termination and renewal processes
  • Knowledge of platforms such as Salesforce CRM, CSG EPC/CPQ/COM, and Ciena Blue Planet SOM/ROM.
  • Familiarity with modern architecture patterns, cloud technologies, and enterprise integration approaches.
  • Proven experience with architecture governance on complex projects / programs, including key design decisions.
  • Expertise in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar is a plus.
  • Working experience with enterprise architecture tools.
  • Problem-solving skills.
