About the role

As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing and executing marketing processes that drive lead generation and campaign success. You will focus on improving lead management processes and enhancing data quality to maximize ROI. Collaborating with central and regional marketing teams, you will implement efficient workflows, monitor performance, continuously refine strategies for growth, collect feedback on lead management and to ensure production guidelines for campaigns are respected.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and hands-on expertise in marketing automation tools (such as Marketo) and CRM platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Process Optimization

  • Develop and implement streamlined lead management processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Design and manage lead assignment rules, scoring models, and qualification mechanisms (MQL, SQL, BANT criteria).
  • Oversee end-to-end lead journey optimization, ensuring a smooth transition from marketing to sales.
  • Implement and improve automation workflows to streamline marketing processes.
  • Work closely with campaign teams to ensure production guidelines are followed and marketing automation tools are utilized properly.

2. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure lead process effectiveness.
  • Develop custom dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights into marketing and sales funnel performance.
  • Maintain lead routing and work with tools team to ensure proper lead handover between tools

3. Data Quality & CRM Management

  • Lead data quality improvement initiatives, ensuring a clean and reliable database for marketing and sales activities.
  • Implement data governance strategies to improve segmentation, personalization, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Drive consistency in lead status tracking (e.g., Suspect, Nurture, MQL, SQL) to enhance conversion rates.

4. User Support, Training & Best Practices

  • Provide ongoing support and training for marketing and sales teams on lead management processes and tools.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and best practice documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify and onboard pilot users for testing and refining new marketing automation processes.
  • Manage the import and integration of external qualified leads into Marketo, ensuring seamless processing.
     

About you

What You Bring to the Team

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as Marketing Automation Manager or similar.
  • Strong expertise in marketing automation platforms (Marketo) and CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience in reporting, analytics, and performance tracking.
  • Ability to optimize lead nurturing strategies and improve sales funnel efficiency.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and deliver measurable results.
  • Strong problem-solving, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
