About the role

OINIS Operations is in charge of the supporting customers for all OINIS products (CDN, SDN, OGN networks, Evolve platform...) with the goal to deliver the required Quality of Service respecting the financial guidelines. International Enterprises, French Enterprises and Operators are the end customers supported by Orange Business and Orange Wholesale International entities. Operations teams are located in France, Morocco, India, and Brazil.

 

The Data/AI Product Owner will be responsible for leading data and AI initiatives within the Operations direction globally, supporting the transformation of processes through automation, data management, and AI use cases. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners located in France, Morocco, India, and Brazil to deliver impactful solutions aligned with organizational goals.

About you

 

Mission

  • The mission of the Senior Product Owner (data/AI) is to drive data/AI use case innovation and improvement, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and facilitating stakeholder engagement to deliver high-value solutions with the focus on Operations department.

Main activities

  • Lead and coordinate Data/AI projects for Operations direction
    Facilitate the portfolio of Data/AI transversal projects/programs (e.g., infrastructure and services monitoring, Process Digitalization) from ideation to successful delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational and operational goals.
  • Act as Data/AI Product Owner and drive innovation to meet Operational priorities
    Define and prioritize features, develop success metrics, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop relevant AI use cases (e.g noise reduction, impact analysis, self-healing).
  • Support data standardization for operational needs
    Promote data standardization for the operations direction 
  • Support data analysis for Operations performance KPIs 
    Introduce data and AI methods to deduct business outcomes from the operational KPIs.
  • Define and track DATA/AI KPIs for existing and new services (e.g., CDN, SDN, 5G, IoT, Data/AI).
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams to ensure clear communication of product vision and goals.
  • Own the end-to-end project/product delivery, aligning with stakeholder expectations and needs.
  • Identify and prioritize business needs and requirements by collaborating with operations teams.
  • Manage project/product backlogs, lead sprint planning, and facilitate communication with development teams, operations, and stakeholders.
  • Write user stories and detailed specifications as necessary, ensuring comprehensive test setups.
  • Integrate technical constraints and address developer inquiries to facilitate smooth progress.
  • Ensure timely delivery in accordance with business expectations while maintaining agility.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on strategic goals.
  • Make informed decisions regarding feature scope and release priorities.
  • Ensure the development team understands requirements and acceptance criteria for effective execution.
  • Validate and accept completed work, ensuring alignment with established criteria.
  • Continuously gather feedback to enhance the product and incorporate improvements.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to promote understanding of data, AI, and new working methodologies.

  • Domains in the scope of data/ai product owner:
  • All Business verticals: Infrastructures: submarine, satellite, transmission), Networks (Metrology, internal network tools, IP networks), Telco Cloud & Service monitoring solutions (active & passive)
  • IT solutions covering all Operations processes (incident, change, crisis management…)

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business management or related fields.
  • At least 8 years of industry experience with a proven track record as a product owner or project manager in a technical environment preferable in the data/AI/Digitalization domain.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in managing data, AI, or digital transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of data management, data engineering, and AI use cases.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams and knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the capability to engage effectively with senior executives and technical teams.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Work in a multicultural environment with teams across France, Brazil, India, and other locations.
  • Interact with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior executives (VP/SVP level), operational managers, product owners, and technical experts.
  • Experience translating business needs into technical requirements

Certifications:

  • Data and AI certification, validation of proficiency in relevant technologies.
  • Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) certification, demonstrating expertise in agile practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the French language is a plus, enhancing communication within diverse teams.
