About the role

The Solution Expert role is responsible to drives growth for Enterprise Connectivity solutions across APAC, focusing on SD-WAN, SD-LAN, SASE/SSE, Cloud Networking, and Observability. This role requires someone with deep technical expertise who has transitioned from presales to business development, capable of translating complex technical capabilities into clear business value. This role requires the individual to be involved in leading solution design, engaging senior stakeholders, and driving outcome-based selling to acquire new customers and expand existing engagements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive in-region orders and revenue growth for the Connectivity product portfolio (Evolution Platform, SD-WAN, SD-LAN, Managed Wi-Fi, Cloud Connect, Cloud Networking, Visibility & Observability, MPLS).
  • Develop new business opportunities by leveraging technical expertise to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with account teams, strategic partners, and global product teams to support both existing and new customer engagements.
  • Lead technical, consultative selling and deliver solution designs that meet customer business and technical requirements.
  • Manage full sales lifecycle from discovery, qualification, and executive alignment to deal closure.
  • Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships (CIO/CTO/Director level) to generate requirements and create opportunities.
  • Support account teams with workshops, demos, POCs, and proposal development for qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the global product team and third-party vendors to deliver solutions that meet technical and commercial needs.
  • Represent the company at industry events and workshops, providing thought leadership on Connectivity solutions.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, proposals, and RFP responses.

About you

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Atleast 10 years’ experience in network/telecommunications environments with strong technical and presales/business development exposure.
  • Deep expertise across enterprise networking, including:
    • SD-WAN architectures and orchestration platforms (Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, VeloCloud)
    • SD-LAN & NAC with policy-based segmentation and wired/wireless convergence (Aruba, Fortinet, Cisco)
    • SASE/SSE frameworks (ZTNA, CASB, SWG)
    • Cloud Networking across hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) including Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Transit Gateway, and hybrid cloud overlays (Aviatrix)
    • Visibility & Observability platforms (ThousandEyes, AppNeta, Dynatrace, NetScout)
  • Proven success in pipeline generation, opportunity qualification, and deal closure in Connectivity or Network Services within APAC/global enterprises.
  • Strong experience in outsourcing or complex integration projects, with both presales and post-sales involvement.
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value through compelling storytelling and presentations.
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on outcome-based selling, new logo acquisition, and account growth.
