About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, validating, and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that our project solutions meet business requirements and quality standards. You will collaborate with business, development, and operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery and successful go-live.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning & Execution: Create comprehensive test cases, datasets, and environments in collaboration with business/project teams. Conduct functional, non-regression, and UAT testing according to project timelines.
  • Lead UAT: Take ownership of UAT, ensuring successful validation and go-live. Organize end-to-end tests, ensuring all prerequisites are met before testing begins.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation on SharePoint. Provide regular project status updates through our Project Management platform (daily or weekly).
  • Ticket Management: Oversee the creation, update, and follow-up of tickets. Ensure clarity in issue descriptions and proper ticket handling by responsible teams.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks, raise alerts, and follow through on blocking issues during the validation process.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with development, business teams, and operational staff to ensure continuity and resolve issues. Organize workshops/meetings for clarification and problem-solving.
  • Quality Assurance Best Practices: Ensure consistency in using testing templates and best practices. Support knowledge transfer to new and existing team members.
  • Training Support: Assist the operational team in training members using completed test cases.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in QA methodologies, with hands-on experience in both automated and non-automated testing tools.
  • Test Design Expertise: Proficient in designing targeted end-to-end testing scenarios based on business requirements.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to testing and documentation.
  • Project Ownership: Proven ability to take full ownership of validating features and certifying projects end-to-end.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Startup Experience (Preferred): Experience in early-stage, data-centric startups is a plus.
