About the role

This role is with Orange Wholesale Division and Wholesale experience is required. 

Orange launched Orange Wholesale and its own identity, with a clear ambition: become a European leader in infrastructure, networks, and connectivity services, serving operators and major internet players around the world.

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and target-driven Sales Director to lead our Data sales initiatives within the Wholesale market in London. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow our IP, bandwidth, and infrastructure solutions across Europe, managing a talented team of Account Managers, and driving new business opportunities. This role reports directly to the Regional VP Europe and plays a pivotal role in expanding our European footprint.

What your day will look like...

  • Strategic Business Development & Market Expansion
    • Identify new markets and potential clients across Europe, developing tailored pitches that meet client needs and uncover additional product sales opportunities.
    • Deliver compelling presentations, highlighting our unique value propositions and differentiators.
  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Manage and motivate a local and remote team of Account Managers, ensuring effective communication through regular calls, meetings, and visits.
    • Foster a high-performance culture focused on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Customer Engagement & Demand Generation
    • Raise the company's profile with prospective clients, creating increased demand for our data solutions.
    • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis
    • Stay ahead of industry trends, applying expertise in product knowledge and market insights to position our solutions effectively.
    • Participate in monthly business reviews, reforecast sales trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Prepare sales activity reports & maintain accurate CRM
    • Contribute insights to cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with broader company objectives.

 

 

 

About you

  • Proven success in new business development within the telecommunications or data sector.
  • Experience managing sales teams and developing strategic growth plans.
  • Strong understanding of wholesale customer data needs, IP, bandwidth, and infrastructure solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented with a focus on innovation and transformation.
  • Fluent English; French language skills are a plus.
  • Based in London; some travel required.
