About the role

  • Generate accurate and timely invoices for clients based on contractual agreements, purchase orders, and service delivery records.
  • Verify billing data and ensure all information is correct before issuing invoices, including rates, quantities, and discounts.
  • Review and reconcile billing discrepancies by investigating and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service teams to gather necessary documentation and clarify billing details.
  • Maintain and update billing records and databases to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies.
  • Respond to billing inquiries from clients and internal teams, providing clear and professional communication.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing billing reports and summaries.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments or unresolved billing issues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies regarding billing procedures.
  • Assist in the implementation of billing system improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Provide support during audits by maintaining accurate billing documentation and records
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve billing processes for efficiency and accuracy.

  • Education:
  • Diploma or Equivalent: Minimum requirement; foundational knowledge necessary for entry-level roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
