About the role

 

Drive innovation and excellence as a Sr. Solution Architect, where your leadership and expertise directly influence the design and delivery of complex telecommunications solutions critical to our client's success.

  • Responsible for the end-to-end validation, including design when required, of large, complex multi-BU or nonstandard solutions covering technical architecture, delivery planning, compatibility with Orange operational infrastructure, costing, and SLA.
  • Ensure end-to-end feasibility relative to technical architecture, compatibility with Orange operational infrastructure process and IT & Security tools.
  • Identify reusable solutions and document via the Brick, providing reference documents through the Customer Solutions Knowledge Portal.
  • Secure validation of nonstandard solution components from Product Engineering & Marketing, Operations, International Backbone Services, Consulting Services, Orange Cyberdefense, and other affiliates.
  • Capitalize on repetitive proposed solutions to enhance PS Consulting community capabilities and support Product Management in service evaluation and evolution.
  • Identify non-standard costs and risks associated with complex or nonstandard solution components and report findings to the appropriate teams.
  • Minimize response times and ensure high solution quality in support of sales.
  • Develop cost-effective solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements while aligning with Orange Business Services goals.
  • Contribute to P&L evaluation supporting Commercial/Risk Management by clarifying SLA commitments and identifying technical, delivery, and operational risks.
  • Coordinate actions internally and externally ensuring all solution components are interoperable and align with engineering delivery, operations, and IT&S tools.
  • While direct people management responsibilities may not be a focus, mentorship and guidance to junior team members and fostering a collaborative team environment are crucial to achieving collective objectives.
  • Contributes to financial accountability by maintaining awareness of company and IMEA region targets, ensuring cost-effective solution development that aligns with budgetary constraints.
  • After contract win, ensure a seamless transition from Pre-Sales to Post-Sales phases via a kick-off meeting and assist in project launch as necessary, maintaining high technical knowledge of all Orange Business Services products and solutions.
 

About you

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Solution Architect with a strong background in telecommunications. You possess in-depth knowledge of network frameworks such as SDWAN, SDLAN, MPLS, LAN, WLAN, as well as voice technologies including PBXs and VoIP & IPT solutions. Your critical thinking abilities enable you to assess complex problems and propose innovative solutions while effectively communicating and negotiating with stakeholders. With a degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Computer Science and recognized industry certifications, you have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in presales and solution design, displaying an agile mindset and a customer-focused approach.

  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of network technologies, including SDWAN, SDLAN, MPLS, LAN, WLAN, and associated security measures.
  • Possesses expertise in voice technologies such as PBXs, digital and analog transmissions, VoIP, and IPT.
  • Effectively communicates in English, both written and verbal, ensuring clarity and understanding among diverse stakeholders.
  • Employs critical thinking skills to analyze complex problems, evaluate risks, and balance technical choices with commercial acumen.
  • Exhibits agility and a creative approach to solving requirements and challenges that arise during solution design.
