The mission of Orange Business is to be the trusted partner of the customers’ digital transformation.

OB Finance is an organization of 700 employees in 45 countries.

GSP International Operations realizes the Finance operations for the Orange Business affiliates outside France, with a scope of 80 countries and 110 legal entities for an annual revenue of €2bn, thanks to ~130 internal + ~300 external team members in several countries, working with IT and transformation teams, legal representatives in countries, statutory auditors, group functions (accounting, tax, treasury…).

GSP International Operations is part of the OB Finance organization and a member of the Group GSP.  

Project:

 

The Fixed Asset Business Process Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving the end-to-end Fixed Asset Management processes across Orange Business’s international entities. This role focuses on standardizing the management of the entire asset lifecycle, from acquisition and capitalization to depreciation, transfer, impairment, and disposal, ensuring compliance with both local and global accounting standards. By leveraging innovative technologies, the Fixed Asset Business Process Manager drives operational efficiency, enhances transparency, and supports accurate financial reporting.

A key part of the role involves supporting the migration to the new OB Fusion ERP system, promoting harmonization of fixed asset processes, and ensuring seamless integration with finance modules. 

Collaboration is essential, as the role requires close interaction with Business Process Implementation Managers (BPIMs, mainly outsourced to Accenture), members of the GSPI organization, and regional finance teams. 

This position reports to the Director of GSP International of Orange Business, with day-to-day collaboration with the OB Fusion Project Manager and the Group GSP Fixed Asset Business Process Manager.

Missions: 

  • Process Design and Optimization:
    Define and document standardized end-to-end Fixed Asset Management processes, covering acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, transfer, impairment, and disposal. Ensure consistency and compliance across all regions while identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Harmonization and Continuous Improvement:
    Support the harmonization of fixed asset processes across regions, ensuring alignment with global accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.
  • System Support and Migration:
    Collaborate with IT and Solutions teams to support migration from legacy ERP systems to Fusion ERP, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption. Develop and adapt system specifications to meet evolving business needs, particularly in asset accounting and integration with other modules.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Training:
    Act as a bridge between business users, process owners, and IT teams. Facilitate communication, training, and change management activities to promote adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    Establish KPIs and dashboards to track asset management performance, compliance, and efficiency. Regularly review metrics related to capitalization accuracy, depreciation schedules, and disposal processes, escalate issues, and propose corrective actions.
  • Compliance and Governance:
    Ensure all fixed asset activities adhere to internal policies, external regulations, and audit requirements. Support internal and external audits related to asset accounting, valuation, and reporting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with Finance Solutions, Group experts, and regional teams to ensure process consistency, share best practices, and support global initiatives in asset management and finance transformation.

base salary from 1 640 € brutto per month, actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.

About you

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in finance processes, experience as a Fixed asset lead/process manager is an advantage, ideally within a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of finance transformation projects, ERP systems (especially Fusion ERP), and process automation.
  • Continuous improvement methodologies (LSS, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, matrix environment.
  • Fluency in English; French and other languages are a plus.
