About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Business Developer to spearhead our expansion efforts across the Latin American market. Based in Mexico, this role will focus on:

  1. Secure VO’s existing customer in LATAM
  2. Upsell to existing customers
  3. Identify, Develop, and Close new business opportunities with prospects while building strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the LATAM region
  4. Develop strong relationships with VO’s existing partners and identify new possible partners.
  5. Represent VO with LATAM market

The candidate will possess deep understanding of Latin American business culture, market dynamics, and regulatory environments. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of a portfolio of key accounts, with the aim of promoting our content security solutions, our TV platforms, and our monetization offers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales cycle management
  • Secure and renew existing contracts
  • Grow revenue across assigned accounts 
  • Identify, qualify and transform business opportunities, in coordination with the pre-sales and product teams
  • Manage responses to calls for tenders, build technical and commercial proposals, and ensure contract negotiations
  • Monitor project execution with the Delivery and Customer Support teams
  • Support headquarters with the billing process and cash collection
  • Report activities to VO’s headquarters
  1. Customer relationship and influence
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and key influencers
  • Collaborate with local partners, distributors, and channel partners to expand market reach
  • Represent the company at regional trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities
  1. Business Development & Sales:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across LATAM markets, with primary focus on Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and Chile
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional revenue targets and market penetration goals
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential partnership opportunities
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure
  1. Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence:
  • Analyze market conditions, customer needs, and competitive positioning to inform sales strategies
  • Provide regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to senior management
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop region-specific campaigns and sales materials
  • Support pricing strategies and contract negotiations aligned with local market conditions

About you

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, International Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of B2B sales experience in LATAM markets with proven track record of exceeding targets with complex technological solutions (DRM, security, video, SaaS, telecoms)
  • Experience in technology, telecommunications, or related industries preferred 
  • Strong experience in managing key accounts and conducting high-level negotiations
  • Strong skills in managing cross-functional projects involving technical, contractual and financial dimensions

Language & Communication:

  • Native or fluent Spanish proficiency (required)
  • Advanced English proficiency for internal and external communications and reporting
  • Portuguese proficiency highly desirable for Brazil market engagement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in multicultural environments

Technical & Professional Skills:

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills with ability to influence decision-makers
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and sales analytics tools
  • Understanding of LATAM regulatory environments and business compliance requirements
