As a Cloud Infra Ops Engineer, you will be at the forefront of technological innovation, leading operational tasks for systems services, while ensuring seamless performance and reliability of our cloud infrastructure during every incident and change.
• Perform systems services operation tasks for both Windows and Linux servers, including resolving incidents, implementing new releases, and maintaining service configurations.
• Manage system upgrades, service packs, and virtualization tasks while adhering to configuration management standards.
• Identify and escalate unresolved issues to the proper engineering or fix groups, ensuring efficient resolution and follow-up.
• Contribute to service operation management processes, including root cause analysis and post-implementation reviews, to drive continual service improvement.
• Provide leadership and coaching to junior staff and assist in managing shifts to ensure comprehensive coverage of service operations.
• Resolve systems service incidents by diagnosing and troubleshooting issues to restore service promptly.
• Implement changes to systems services while minimizing disruption and ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
• Conduct release management processes that include coordinating upgrades, patches, and migrations of software and hardware components.
• Engage in configuration management tasks to maintain the integrity of system information and ensure accurate documentation.
• Monitor systems for issues in latency and performance, escalating to proper channels for resolution.

You possess extensive expertise in managing VMware vSphere, software-defined networking with NSX-T/V, and software-defined storage with vSAN. Your proficiency in hybrid and multi-cloud environments enables seamless integration of on-premises systems with public cloud solutions. Your strong communication and problem-solving abilities, paired with a degree in Computer, Communication, or Electronics MIS, position you well for this impactful role.

Your professional skills:
• Possess extensive experience with VMware vSphere, focusing on installation and management of large-scale clusters.
• Demonstrate advanced capabilities with VMware NSX-T, including network micro-segmentation and routing functionalities.
• Exhibit proficiency in managing vSAN operations, including storage policies and performance troubleshooting.
• Integrate on-premises VMware environments with public cloud solutions seamlessly.
• Design and test disaster recovery solutions utilizing tools such as Site Recovery Manager or Veeam.
