About the role

Join our dynamic team within the Product & IT Technology organisation at Orange Business, where you will contribute to the Program Management Office (PMO) activities for the NewCo program. This program is focused on a complex and transversal transformation initiative that aims to innovate and enhance our technological landscape, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry.

As a PMO Specialist, your mission is to champion project management excellence and ensure the success of the NewCo program by facilitating transparent communication, fostering collaboration, and driving adherence to agile principles throughout the delivery process. 

In this role, you will assist in overseeing the governance of the NewCo program, ensuring that activities adhere to the principles of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams and stakeholders, helping to ensure alignment and progress towards common goals. Additionally, you will support monitoring project performance, identifying potential risks, and contributing to mitigation strategies to keep the program on track.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining programmatic project plans that outline timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Organize and facilitate regular project status meetings, providing updates to key stakeholders to ensure transparency in project progress.
• Champion best practices in project management, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation within the organization.
• Contribute to risk management activities by identifying and reporting potential risks and issues promptly.
• Support documentation and reporting efforts by ensuring accurate and timely communication of project status and key performance metrics.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the effective application of SAFe principles and agile methodologies in all project initiatives.
• You will play a key role in overseeing the governance of the NewCo program, ensuring alignment with the principles of SAFe.
• Your responsibilities will involve facilitating communication among cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration to align interests and expedite progress.
• Monitoring project performance, identifying potential risks, and contributing to proactive mitigation strategies will be essential to keeping the program on track.
 

About you

You are an experienced project management professional with a strong understanding of various project management methodologies, especially the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). With 3 to 7 years of experience in PMO environments, you possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and active stakeholder management expertise that allows you to thrive in collaborative and fast-paced settings.

Your professional skills:
• You possess an understanding of various project management methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), allowing for effective implementation of agile practices.
• Your familiarity with transformation programs and change management principles enhances your ability to contribute successfully during organizational shifts.
• You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, which are essential for navigating challenges and supporting project achievements.
• You have effective communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Your ability to manage key stakeholder relationships is vital for implementing robust delivery mechanisms and governance.

Your soft skills:
• You are skilled at conveying information clearly and actively listening to stakeholders, which enhances collaboration.
• Your leadership qualities enable you to guide teams effectively, inspiring them to achieve collective project goals.
• You establish and nurture strong relationships with team members and stakeholders through empathy and emotional intelligence.
• You excel in conflict resolution, managing and de-escalating conflicts constructively to maintain team cohesion.
