This is a finance role within International Business, supporting the European Sales Region.

The position is a central role within the European finance team of 11 people, 8 of whom are based in Slovakia.   

 

This role in the team is responsible for:

 

• The management of Europe's credit note provision balances including the preparation and booking of monthly journals globally

• Co-ordinating the approval of Europe’s credit note requests
• Europe’s DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and AR analysis with focus on Overdue reporting and the setting of targets at country cluster & customer level, 
• Europe’s monthly revenue accruals for Voice usage and preparation of associated journals
• The management of the deferred installation revenue & production of global journals
• Producing daily revenue reports to assist with the finance month closing process
• Liaising with Group and local auditors to answer any queries relating to the year-end closing

 

This is a key role in the smooth running of the Europe finance region affecting all countries and customers within Europe with regular deadlines throughout the month.

 

You will have contact with all of the countries within the Europe region and communicate with the European management team. 

 

  

 

 

 

 

Your Profile

 

  The candidate will need:

• At least three years’ experience in financial roles incl. preparation of monthly journals and maintenance of account reconciliations 
• To be comfortable working with large sets of financial data. Good Microsoft Access database management skills are required as well as a good knowledge of Excel
• Good communication skills, required for correspondence with European finance team, European regional management, Chief Accounting Office and the Group auditors
• To be fluent in English
• To be proactive to identify ways to develop new processes and improve existing ones. 
• To ideally be a qualified accountant

Base salary from 1 640 € brutto per month, actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.
