About the role

 

We are looking for a certified and experienced SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead the Secured Connectivity Products (SCP) Agile Release Train, a large train of about 100 people delivering:SD-WAN, SASE and underlay products including our Next Gen Products

As RTE, you are the servant leader and coach of the ART. You orchestrate the delivery of value, ensure alignment with the SAFe framework, and drive continuous improvement across multi-disciplinary teams (software, network, security, operations).

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate and improve core SAFe events (PI Planning, ART Sync, PO Sync, System Demo, Inspect & Adapt).
  • Ensure PI readiness and follow-up (vision, priorities, risks, dependencies, PI objectives).
  • Drive execution of Program Increments, manage cross-team risks and dependencies, and promote flow of value.
  • Act as a servant leader and coach for Scrum Masters, Product Owners and teams on Lean-Agile and SAFe practices.
  • Provide clear, regular communication on ART status and decisions to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with SCP stakeholders (Product Management, architects, network & security experts,etc) to align roadmap and deliveries with Orange Business secured connectivity strategy.

About you

  • +8 Years of experience in leading large Programs 
  • B.SC in Telecommunication / Business Administration 
  • Mandatory SAFe RTE certification and significant hands-on experience as RTE (or equivalent role) in a SAFe environment, ideally on large ARTs (~80–100 people).
  • Strong command of SAFe and Agile practices (ART, PI, ceremonies, Lean-Agile mindset, flow).
  • Proven ability to facilitate key events, manage risks/impediments/dependencies, and use agile tooling (Jira, Azure DevOps or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and leadership skills; servant leader mindset.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)., French is a plus
  • Experience or strong exposure to telecom, networking and/or security products (e.g. SD-WAN, VPN, MPLS, IP routing, underlay services, firewalls, network security).
  • Comfortable working with multi-disciplinary teams and understanding high-availability, performance and security constraints.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices in environments where software integrates with network and platform components.
  • Experience in large, distributed and multicultural organizations; Orange / Orange Business experience is a plus.
