About the role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial (hunter) sales business development professional to join our sales team in The Netherlands. 

It is an exciting place to be with lots of opportunity due to Orange Business services led and customer centric digital portfolio of customer experience services. Reporting to the Sales Director in the Netherlands, you will be accountable for driving new business sales opportunities for the Business Line Customer Experience, which brings digital customer experience solutions to market, combining next generation omnichannel contact centers, Data Analytics and AI services to empower businesses in their hyper personalized customer interactions. 

You will work collaboratively with account teams and new business sales teams to develop and co-create solutions to meet customer business requirements including evangelizing the Orange Business Customer Experience value proposition and vision to internal and external stakeholders and executing on credible business discussions. In this role you are supported by solution experts to enable customers to achieve their most challenging business and organizational goals through well-managed customer experience digital solutions, advisory and consulting across the multinational customer target market in the Netherlands. 

As a Business Developer – Customer Experience, you will need to drive new business sales engagements with prospect accounts as well as upselling into existing Orange customers, on stand-alone opportunities as well as in the context of complex multi-domain projects. 

You will be accountable for the following tasks: 

• Establish, maintain and grow profitable business relationships with selected customer(s) and especially new prospects to develop joint business propositions.

• Qualify and develop opportunities (to include gathering customer business requirements, setting opportunity strategy, engage with relevant customer stakeholders, co-develop solutions direction with the customer and engage with partners). 

• Lead the creation of customer proposals (build and lead the bid team, engage the solutions team, define the commercial opportunity strategy, own the internal commercial validation and be the lead to the customer).

• Present and defend the proposals, adapt proposals as required in the customer engagement process, lead the complex commercial and legal negotiations with the customer on behalf of the account team and Business Line. 

• Working within multi-disciplinary teams if required, representing the Business Line, to build complex offerings based on sound commercial, technical and legal practice. 

• Stay current with the latest trends and developments in the market, and maintain a strong understanding of customer experience products, services, and technology partners. 

• Participate in (local) trade shows and industry events where applicable.

 

About you

Your profile:

• New business hunter salesmanship with a track record in selling value through eco-systems and partnerships. 

• Ability to sell complex projects that bring sustainable value for Orange Business and our customers in a consultative manner. 

• New business mentality, identify and hunt for new opportunities in the target market list. 

• Passionate about digital omnichannel customer experience and human interaction. 

• Business and financial acumen & Communication and presentation skills. 

• Ability to engage at all customer levels. 

• Languages: Dutch and English as a minimum.

 

Education and experience requirements:

• Degree in business administration or technology, or relevant subject, with at least 5 years of sales experience. 

• Experience in high-level enterprise sales of managed services and/or outsourcing.
