About the role

Demonstrates experience in successfully executing global Information Technology transition & transformation projects. Should have had experience in transitioning projects from India for Multinational customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:                                   

  1. Develop integrated project plans, implementation schedules and cost estimates for projects.
  2. Develop & finalize the transition plan with the internal & customer teams
  3. Accountable for the successful completion of project team deliverables on time, within budget, and according to specifications
  4. Identify and secure resources necessary to execute the Transition/transformation Plan.
  5. Manage transition planning, knowledge transfer, technolgy deployment, service readiness, people transfer, delivery operations setup, service management aspects of project
  6. Communicate progress / status of transition to leadership and business units and all stakeholders
  7. Develop contingency and risk mitigation plans for transition
  8. Develop early termination / back-out strategies
  9. Manage customer steering committee, project committee, meetings, track financials, provide status updates, idenitfy risks/issues , work out mitigation plans/remediation strategies.
  10. Communicate effectively with the internal business stakeholders what all changes in processes will be
  11. Deploys and refines a standardized transition methodology to be used consistently across initiatives
  12. Develop transition plans, approach, RFP/RFI responses, transition cost estimates
  13. Continually work to move projects to a successful completion in line with the agreed timescales, at desired quality and within budget.
  14. Coordinate all project related activities, ensure optimum utilization of resources and ensure all project phases are documented appropriately.
  15. Work towards continual improvement by implementing corrective action plans based on performance analysis, lessons learned, project archives etc.
  16. Provide weekly / regular project updates to the internal stakeholders
  17. Adherence to the organizational / operational process, policies & procedures and ensuring that there is zero non –conformance.
  18. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned to you by your superior and /or management form time to time.
  19. Maintain and organize project documentation throughout the Project/transition life-cycle.

About you

Required Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Engg or a related discipline. 
  • 8 plus years relevant  PM & Transition management work experience.
  • Minimum of 12 years IT management experience. 
  • Ideal candidates should be PMP or Agile PMP certified. ITIL certified is added advantage
  • Exeprience/deep knowledge  of all technologies such as service desk, end user computing (workplace services), data center services, network and security services, Cloud Services ,messaging and collaboration (IPT & Contact Center).
  • Strong project planning, execution, monitoring, tracking and reporting experience
  • Previous people and Transition management experience required.
  • Previous contract or outsourcing management experience required.
  • Previous data center migration/transition experience desirable
