About the role

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare HLD/LLD and Execute implementation of approved HLD/LLD.
  • Configure and deploy routers, switches, and WAN devices.
  • Perform greenfield and brownfield deployments.
  • Implement LAN, WAN, and Data Center network solutions.
  • Conduct pre-implementation planning and risk assessment.
  • Deploy MPLS and Internet WAN connectivity.
  • Plan and execute network migration activities.
  • Perform DC migration / WAN link migration.
  • Execute change windows with minimal downtime.
  • Provide onsite/remote support during cutovers.
  • Prepare rollback plans and ensure successful execution.
  • Conduct FAT / UAT testing.
  • Perform redundancy and failover testing.
  • Ensure compliance with security baselines and standards.
  • Update LLD and as-built documentation.
  • Prepare implementation reports and MOP (Method of Procedure).
  • Conduct KT sessions for Operations (L2/L3 Support teams).
  • Work with multiple OEMs.
  • Support project managers in implementation planning.

  • STP / RSTP / MSTP

  • Inter-VLAN routing
  • Private VLAN
  • HSRP / VRRP / GLBP
  • Link redundancy and dual-homing
  • MPLS
  • Internet Edge routing
  • SD-WAN fundamentals
  • Data center leaf-spine basics
  • VXLAN (preferred)
  • ACL configuration
  • Port security
  • DHCP snooping / DAI
  • Basic firewall integration
  • Basic Python / Ansible for configuration deployment
  • Template-based configuration

 

Experience Requirements

  • 8–15 years of networking experience.
  • Hands-on experience in large-scale enterprise/DC rollouts.

 

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Cisco Systems CCNP Enterprise
  • Cisco Systems CCIE (preferred)
  • Other OEM equivalent certification

  • Risk identification and mitigation skills.
  • Clear technical documentation skills.
  • Team collaboration and cross-functional coordination.
