About the role

Department: Orange Wholesale International – ASIA

Job Purpose / Mission:  Develop and grow Orange International Carriers sales in China with a focus on data services and mobile services. Collaborate with global and regional marketing, engineering, and delivery teams to build a robust pipeline, close high-value opportunities, and maximize revenue and profitability. The Sales Manager will support Global Large Accounts (GLA) teams on key accounts and act as a bridge between internal subject-matter experts and customers.

About the role

  • Data services: IP Transit, bandwidth (Wet, backhaul, IRU, Dark fiber) across subsea/terrestrial infrastructure; Content Delivery Network services.
  • Mobile services: Worldwide roaming connectivity enablers (SS7, LTE, IPX); IoT use cases; traveler eSIM; 5G connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development
  • Create and manage a structured pipeline of opportunities in assigned accounts/territories.
  • Qualify leads, prioritize opportunities, and coordinate with relevant support teams.
  • Hunt for new accounts and cross-sell Orange Wholesale’s data and mobile solutions.
  1. Sales Performance
  • Deliver growth in revenue and margin for Orange Wholesale’s services.
  • Manage billing/disputes and credit considerations with support from the appropriate Orange groups.
  • Manage end-to-end sales lifecycle for new and existing customers (including eCRM).
  • Drive Global Large Accounts growth; ensure internal implementation of customer historical business and data.
  1. Sales Excellence
  • Act as an inspiring sales manager for your accounts; bridge internal experts, industry partners, and customers.
  • Develop strong customer relationships; when you identify an opportunity, coordinate with the bid team and presales specialists to design the best technical and commercial solution.
  • Generate deep knowledge of revenue forecasts

 

Travel and Work Environment

  • Some travel within China and Asia. Occasional international travel as required.
  • Fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring flexibility and proactive communication.

 

KPIs and Success Metrics

  • Revenue growth and gross margin from assigned accounts and opportunities.
  • Pipeline health (size, quality, close rate) and forecast accuracy.
  • Number of new accounts won and penetration within existing accounts.
  • On-time delivery, SLA adherence, and issue-resolution quality.
  • Quality of proposals and win rate for bids involving data and mobile, 

 

 

About you

 

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Years of experience in Telecom or high-tech B2B with strong business and financial acumen; customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken); additional languages a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with IP transit, bandwidth types (Wet, backhaul, IRU, Dark fiber, WDM, Ethernet), subsea/terrestrial networks, CDN; knowledge of roaming, IoT, eSIM, 5G, VoLTE.

  • Proficiency with CRM/eCRM systems; solid opportunity forecasting.
