About the role

Context:

OPC (Oinis Private Cloud) is the dedicated hosting infrastructure for managing OINIS and OBS administration and network services. It provides IaaS and CaaS offerings across three strategic locations worldwide (Washington, Val de Reuil, Singapore). To strengthen our project integration activities, we are seeking to effectively support service projects from hosting requests through to production deployment.

Main Role:

As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for assisting our clients in designing and deploying their applications and services on our OINIS Private Cloud. Your extensive cloud expertise will ensure all prerequisites are met for seamless and efficient service integration into OPC.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Analysis & Design:
Understand service architecture for each project, then collaboratively co-design the production technical architecture with project teams.

Project Support & Deployment:
Guide projects throughout the implementation process, from initial design to production, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments.

Propose Technical Enhancements:
Identify and recommend technical evolutions to optimize performance, security, or scalability.

Go/No-Go Decision Meetings:
Organize and facilitate meetings with all stakeholders to validate readiness for deployment.

Production Oversight:
Work closely with operational teams to oversee the deployment and transition into the production environment.

Project Cut-Over & Transfer:
Manage the handover of the project into the operational environment, ensuring stability and compliance.

Advanced Technical Studies (if applicable):
Conduct studies on orchestration, automation, CI/CD, network functions virtualization, or network architecture to support OPC’s evolution.

Desired Profile:

  • Proven experience in cloud architecture (public, private, or hybrid)
  • Strong knowledge of orchestration, automation, CI/CD, network virtualization, and network architecture
  • Ability to analyze, design, and support complex technical projects
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment
