Prospective & Technological Analysis

• Conduct technological and strategic watch on the evolution of networks and international infrastructures, with a major focus on transmission networks (WDM, Satellite, terrestrial and submarine systems, optical fibers), considering domain developments (AI, IP/Optical convergence).
• Identify disruptive trends, assess their business and operational relevance for OINIS.
• Conduct opportunity, feasibility, and techno-economic studies on new architectures and functionalities.
• Participate in conferences, seminars, and working groups to gather industry insights and anticipate innovations.

Design and Scenario Planning of Future Architectures

• Define, model, and compare multiple target transmission network architectures and evolution pathways.
• Develop engineering references, technical standards, best practices, and architectural patterns.

Influence, Representation, Collaboration & Communication

• Participate in internal valorization (conferences, strategic notes) and external dissemination (white papers, trade shows).
• Develop technical skills in infrastructure (WDM, satellite, terrestrial and submarine systems, IP and optical convergence, fibers).
• Work closely with marketing, technical, commercial, and operational teams at Orange Business and Wholesale.
• Communicate effectively on innovation strategy, study results, and proposed solutions.
• Organize training and awareness sessions to strengthen internal innovation culture.

Project Management & Innovation

• Design innovation programs and lead them.
• Manage anticipation and development projects for new network solutions, from design to deployment.
• Set objectives, deadlines, resources, and oversee execution in coordination with internal teams and partners.
• Monitor project performance using indicators and portfolio management tools.
• Provide regular reports to management and stakeholders.

Key Skills

• Expertise in network architectures, especially infrastructures (WDM, terrestrial and submarine transmission systems, IP and Optical convergence, fibers).
• Ability to conduct strategic and techno-economic studies.
• Leadership in managing complex projects.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and communication skills.
• Innovative mindset, technological curiosity, and influence.

Experience

• 10 years in a similar role as a strategic studies and innovation manager in transmission infrastructure or in engineering within the same technical field, with a desire to evolve towards innovation strategy.
