About the role

Mission 

  • To leverage supply chain skills to create a digital, sustainable and globally integrated Supply Chain delivering a compliant world class customer experience.
  • To lead the Supply Chain procurement teams (across internal and partner organizations) and ensure effective customer service by driving all teams to work together towards common goals.
  • Operational Excellence with seamless, cost effective and efficient lean operations aligned to customer needs and organization strategy by synergizing services of the partners with quality.
  • Own the daily operational relationship with partners, suppliers and vendors to meet customer experience, drive profitability by challenging partners, implementing transformations and supporting our Operational Vendor Management Team in overall supplier performance and governance.
  • Lead and drive operational digitalization, continuous improvements, process (re)engineering initiatives along with Global Practice Owners, ensure business continuity and solid, cohesive operations.

Main Responsibilities and Activities 

  • Drive the vision, strategies and objectives for the International Supply Chain procurement teams.
  • Daily operational accountability of International Supply Chain procurement whilst offering strong support and guidance around all the aspects of the broader Supply Chain scope: planning, warehousing, forward and reverse logistics, inventory management, spares management, ESG / sustainability, audits, trade compliance, digital/IT, alongside the respective global owners.
  • Daily operational performance management and governance of outsourced partners - Ensure quality of services, on time delivery performance – supporting operational performance reviews with Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly BRs
  • Exception and Escalation management for critical customer needs. Understand expectations, identify and address potential issues in the deliveries and recommend improvements. 
  • Drive transformation and on-ground implementation of people, process, and technology for Supply Chain procurement.
  • Business Continuity Management for supply chain procurement - avoiding any impact on customer and business. Work proactively on Risk identification, mitigation with different teams ensuring business continuity.
  • Understand the customer needs related to supply chain and get them fulfilled with support from vendors / partners as (not limited to) Accenture, Westcon, other partners including Leasing Vendors for hardware, software, licensing and services procurement management. 
  • Manage continuous improvement and transformation projects to control, reduce or avoid CAPEX and OPEX in Supply Chain procurement processes.
  • Complex Customer Management: Develop and maintain strong interlocks between customer account, project teams and Supply Chain
  • Analytics and Continuous Improvement: Guide in design, metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards and drive any key resulting business decisions.
  • Lead and support initiatives that ensure International Supply Chain operates with industry best practices in the areas of Innovation, Efficiency, Customer Service/Service Level, Performance Management and Quality.
  • Strongly support the relationships, cohesion and performance across all the teams within International Supply Chain Operations; Regions, Vendor Management, Deal ID, RMA.
  • Support and drive operational performances through OKRs, KPIs, goals and objectives, projects (transformation, CI) like OTD, Inventory, ESG, Data and AI, Trainings alongside the respective Practice Owners
  • Drive and implement business strategies which will improve profitability and minimize revenue leakages.
  • Actively support strong interlocks with key stakeholders in the E2E delivery process e.g., Sourcing, Pre Sales, Account and Project Management, Service Transition, Finance etc. 
  • Ensure teams’ performance by imparting coaching, mentoring and training with required skillsets to achieve functional key objectives.
  • Lead, motivate and inspire local India teams and outsourced partner teams responsible for procurement operations.

About you

Profile and Experience

  • Senior management experience in supply chain business or operational roles with significant experience in the industry (at least 8 years of experience required)
  • Proven track record of managing teams based in India interacting with stakeholders based around the globe, incl. strong local and multicultural awareness.
  • Extensive experience in team leadership and stakeholder management 
  • Digitally savvy with experience of large-scale digital transformation
  • Business oriented mindset – combined with strategic vision and C-level communication skills.
  • Management leadership with ability to work and influence cross functionally, globally across different time zones.

 

Location: Mumbai, hybrid in accordance with local HWoW policy
