The mission of Orange Business is to be the trusted partner of the customers’ digital transformation.

3,000 global enterprises and more than 2 million small and large businesses in France have already put their faith in OB as a telecommunications operator, an integrator and an IT developer. In response, OB provide a powerful, high-quality network spanning 220 countries and a broad range of customizable solutions.

OB Finance is an organization of 700 employees in 45 countries.

GSP International Operations realizes the Finance operations for the Orange Business affiliates outside France, with a scope of 80 countries and 110 legal entities for an annual revenue of €2bn, thanks to -130 internal + -300 external team members in several countries, working with IT and transformation teams, legal representatives in countries, statutory auditors, group functions (accounting, tax, treasury…).

GSP International Operations is part of the OB Finance organization and a member of the Group GSP.  

 

 

Project:

 

The Record to Report (R2R) Local Process Leader (LPL) Deputy will assist with the design, optimization and governance of end-to-end finance processes across Orange Business’s international entities. This role is central to the global finance transformation, ensuring process standardization, compliance and operational excellence while supporting the migration to OB Fusion ERP.  You will act as a key partner to regional teams, IT, transformation programs, and external partners (notably Accenture Business Processes Implementation Managers).

 

You report to the Record to Report (R2R) Local Process Leader (LPL) of the GSP International with close collaboration with the Group Finance stakeholders.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Process Design and Optimization:
    Define, document and standardise end to end processes in R2R area.  Identify automation opportunities, including AI-driven enhancements.      Ensure global consistency while integrating local regulatory requirements.
  • Harmonization and Continuous Improvement:
    Support the harmonization of Payroll, Project Accounting and Intercompany transactions (Clearing Houses) processes across regions, ensuring alignment with global standards and local requirements. Use data analytics and process tools to monitor performance and help Implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
  • System Support and Migration: 

Assist the R2R LPL and IT/Solutions teams in supporting the transition from legacy ERP to Fusion ERP.  Help develop and refine systems aligned with evolving business needs, contributing to UAT. Ensure smooth deployment and adoption across entities.

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Training:
    Act as a support bridge between business users, process owners, and IT teams for Payroll, Project Accounting and Clearing House topics. Assist the R2R LPL with communication, training and change management activities and help promote adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    Help establish and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track performance, compliance and quality. Analyze performance metrics, flag issues and feed recommended corrective actions to the R2R LPL.
  • Compliance and Governance:
    Support adherence to internal controls, group policies, and external regulations. Assist with internal and external audits related to these areas, escalating to the R2R LPL as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with Finance Solutions, Group experts, and regional teams.  Support knowledge sharing and alignment with global finance initiatives led by the R2R LPL.
 

About you

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant or degree in finance
  • Strong experience in payroll, including monitoring compliance with contracts managed by outsourced providers globally, together with variance analysis. Experience in project accounting, with a solid understanding of financial flows to support updates and reconciliations as required. Experience with clearing house activities, including asset and cost transfers, cash funding and transfer pricing, would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Solid understanding of accounting flows ideally in a multinational environment.
  • Comfortable working in a support/deputy capacity to a manager. 
  • Strong involvement in finance transformation and experience of Oracle Fusion ERP essential.
  • Commercially aware, emotionally resilient and independent thinker
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural, matrix environment.
  • Fluency in English and French a plus.
