About the role

The Lead Consultant – This is a Security SME position in Orange Cloud for Business Operations entity. He is accountable for Delivery of Security Service, a private/shared/public cloud platform, or an infrastructure service. He is the key point of contact for the Service Delivery Manager (SDM), regarding the Security services under his responsibility; he is in direct relation with the SDM and even the customer to Provide Technology Representation.

Skill Profile

Industry Certifications: CCSA, CCNP Security, JNCIA-FWV, JNCIA-IDP, BCCPA, NSX-T.

Firewalls: Cisco (FPR4115-BUN, FMC1600-K9, L-FPR4115T-TM-1Y), Palo Alto (PA-3420), Checkpoint, Juniper SRX, Fortigate.

Remote access solutions: Cisco AnyConnect, GlobalProtect, Cisco ISE.

Load Balancers: F5 R5600 with DDoS + LLB protection and WAF.

Event Management: IBM QRadar and other SIEM/SOAR tools.

UTM: Fortinet appliances (80, 110, 300, 1000 series).

IP VPN: Cisco L-AC-APX-3Y-S1.

Proxy Solutions: IronPort (S160, 360, 670), Blue Coat Proxy (SG-400, 500, 600, 800, 900, 9000), Zscaler.

Incident Management:

Independently lead detailed analysis and troubleshooting of reported incidents.

Ensure closure within SLA.

Perform complex changes on security infrastructure with precision.

Documentation:

Create and maintain knowledge articles for critical incidents and changes.

Keep technical documents updated.

Processes & Tools:

Strong understanding of ITIL processes.

Skilled in Microsoft Visio for technical diagrams.

Datacenter Knowledge:

Fair understanding of servers (blade/rack), VMware DC virtualization, storage, and backup.

Leadership & Mentoring:

Act as mentor to L1/L2 teams.

Strong team player with excellent communication and presentation skills (English proficiency).

Responsibilities

Provide Tier-2 network security support for firewall environments across multiple customers.

Act as a primary interface with external clients in a highly visible role.

Responsible for architecture design, initial configuration, and ongoing management of Firewall, VPN, IPS, and Proxy systems.

Deliver 24x7 production support, including off-shift activities and on-call rotation, to operate and maintain security elements.

Troubleshoot complex, end-to-end network security issues.

Conduct risk assessments for all work performed.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly proactive maintenance, including configuration changes and code upgrades, as per business directives.

 

Education, Qualifications, and Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree or MCA.

Leading industry certifications: CCSA, CCNP Security, JNCIA-FWV, JNCIA-IDP, BCCPA.

NSX-T (preferred).

VMware VCP – Network Function Virtualization (mandatory).

ITIL Intermediate Level certification
