About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through delivery and operational handover. The successful candidate will apply project management practices across the full project life cycle, adapt delivery approaches to suit the work, and coordinate teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and technology partners.

The role requires practical knowledge of PMI/PMP project management principles, Agile and Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and GenAI LLM . It also calls for familiarity with cloud platforms and certifications, AI literacy—including agentic AI—and workflow orchestration .

Key Responsibilities

Project life-cycle leadership

  • Lead work across the full project life cycle:
    • Initiation: clarify the business need, objectives, expected benefits, stakeholders, assumptions, constraints, and high-level scope.
    • Planning: develop and maintain the integrated project management plan, scope, schedule, budget, resourcing, quality, communications, procurement, risk, and stakeholder engagement plans.
    • Execution: coordinate delivery teams, manage dependencies and suppliers, facilitate decisions, and support effective communication and collaboration.
    • Monitoring and controlling: track progress against baselines, manage forecasts and performance measures, assess risks and issues, control changes, and report status transparently.
    • Closing and transition: confirm acceptance, complete handover to operations, close contracts and documentation, capture lessons learned, and support benefits tracking.
  • Define project governance, decision rights, escalation paths, tolerances, and reporting cadence.
  • Establish and maintain scope, schedule, cost, resource, risk, issue, dependency, assumption, and change controls.
  • Manage integrated plans and dependencies across business, product, technology, data, security, and operations teams.
  • Use appropriate project controls and reporting methods, including milestone tracking, forecasts, dashboards, and earned-value concepts where relevant.
  • Identify delivery risks early; develop mitigation, contingency, and recovery plans.
  • Manage changes through impact assessment, approval, communication, and baseline updates.
  • Ensure quality planning, assurance, acceptance criteria, testing coordination, and readiness for release.
  • Coordinate procurement, vendors, contracts, and third-party delivery commitments as required.
  • Lead project reviews, steering committee meetings, decision forums, and executive updates.
  • Support benefits realization by aligning delivery outcomes with business objectives and tracking agreed measures after implementation.

Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery

  • Select and tailor predictive, iterative, Agile, or hybrid approaches to fit project context, uncertainty, governance, and organizational needs.
  • Apply Scrum practices, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily coordination, reviews, retrospectives, and increment delivery.
  • Work effectively with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, engineering teams, and business stakeholders while respecting their accountabilities.
  • Support backlog visibility, prioritization, acceptance criteria, release planning, and delivery forecasting.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of SAFe concepts and terminology, including Agile Release Trains, PI Planning, team and program backlogs, dependencies, and Inspect and Adapt events.
  • Coordinate across teams and delivery trains, escalating impediments and managing cross-team risks and dependencies.
  • Help teams improve delivery flow, transparency, predictability, and continuous learning.

Cloud, AI, and automation

  • Demonstrate an understanding of cloud delivery considerations, such as shared-responsibility models, security, privacy, resilience, cost management, and migration or modernization dependencies.
  • Coordinate cloud-related initiatives with architecture, engineering, security, data, and operations teams.
  • Maintain relevant cloud knowledge or certifications, such as:
    • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or an equivalent AWS certification.
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or an equivalent Azure certification.
    • Google Cloud Digital Leader or an equivalent Google Cloud certification.
  • Apply sound AI literacy to project planning and delivery, including awareness of generative AI, data quality, model limitations, evaluation, human oversight, privacy, security, and responsible-use considerations.
  • Understand agentic AI at a practical level, including AI agents’ goals, tools, permissions, context, monitoring, escalation, and human approval points.
  • Assess AI use cases for suitability, risks, governance requirements, value, and operational readiness; do not treat autonomous outputs as inherently reliable.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repeatable workflows and coordinate automation initiatives with relevant technical and business owners.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with workflow orchestration platforms such as n8n, including triggers, workflows, integrations, error handling, access controls, and monitoring.
  • Coordinate safe integration of AI agents and automations with enterprise systems, including testing, auditability, fallback procedures, and appropriate human-in-the-loop controls.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in project management, business, technology, or a related field.
  • Significant experience managing complex, cross-functional projects or programs, including ownership of plans, governance, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
  • PMP certification or equivalent demonstrable knowledge of PMI project management practices.
  • Practical experience with Agile and Scrum delivery; knowledge of SAFe in a scaled environment.
  • Experience working with cloud-based products, platforms, migrations, or infrastructure initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled solutions, automation, or workflow orchestration tools such as n8n
  • Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, negotiation, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
